What you get when you adopt

I am situated in Melbourne, I am happy to fly the babies to you at your cost and risk.

Baby will come to you at around 12 weeks of age, they will be desexed, wormed,   vaccinated, microchipped and vet checked. (Females will usually be ready to re home from 13 weeks.)

The adoption process

If you are interested in adopting a baby please complete and return the ‘Registration of Interest form’ found in the FORMS section on this site.

I will let you know if your application is successful.

If your application is successful you will be placed on the waitlist and contacted via email when a kitten becomes available.

When a litter is 4 – 6 weeks of age you will be contacted to ask if you are interested in adopting a kitten.  Should you agree you should download and print the CONTRACT in the ‘forms‘ section of this website. Please read carefully, complete and return it. At this stage you will be asked for a $550 non refundable or transferable deposit. Baby is not yours until the contract is returned signed and completed correctly and deposit is received.  You will generally have 24 hours to do so before the kitten is offered to the next person on the waitlist.

The remaining $2200 must be paid prior to collection or shipping.

Don Sphynx Australia reserves the right to refuse to send you said kitten if they find you unfit or unsuitable whether the contract is signed or not.  It is my main aim to rehome these precious beings to a safe and secure home.  It is my prerogative to change my mind if I find the buyer unfit.
